René Lavenant commence sa carrière de DJ en France, dès 1987. Son travail et son professionnalisme lui ouvrent de nouvelles portes et il reçoit des récompenses nationales qui lui permettent ainsi de rentrer dans le top 10 des DJ’s Français…« Platines d’or 1996 » à la Loco (Paris), puis « Le Trophée Yacast 2004 » à l’Amnésia (Paris)…
Sa passion pour la musique électronique l’entraîne à Ibiza dès 1997 et en 1999 il prend pour la première fois les platines du Savannah Café dans la mythique bais de San Antonio avant de jouer dans d’autres endroits prestigieux comme Café del Mar, Es Paradis, El Hotel Pacha, KM5, Es Vive Hotel, Itaca, Bay Bar…ce qui lui permet de jouer pour de nombreuses pré-parties comme Clockwork Orange, Tïesto, Supermartxé, Swedish House Mafia…

En 2001, René Lavenant se lance dans la production musicale et plusieurs projets sortent sous différents pseudonymes. Il commence avec Full Work (Scorpio Music et Nice Music), puis il enchaine avec Sun Factory et le futur hit maker Willy William (Independance Records), et remixe Doc Gyneco « Funky Maxime ».
2003, la rencontre entre le DJ/producteur René Lavenant et le sound designer Amyn donne naissance à R.Jam Music !
En 2004, R.Jam « I like to move it » rentre directement numéro 1 des clubs Français et reste top 1 pendant 4 semaines…
Toujours en 2004, R.Jam Feat Neïman rentre directement 5ème des clubs Français avant d’atteindre le Top 3.
Début 2005, le célèbre label Parisien Scorpio Music signe la licence du hit. Dès lors, le duo décide de miser tous ses gains en créant son label « 2 La Vibe Records ». Ainsi plusieurs projets apparaissent dans les classements, dont Rock’n Tronick (Top 13), 3 R, Joy Eivissa, Philippe Reda Feat Cuban M.O.B (Top 13), Philippe Reda Feat Noface…et ils remixent d’autres artistes (Stromae, Dan Balan…)
En 2011, le duo se sépare. Encouragé par son meilleur ami, Vincent Cerutti, le premier animateur de « Danse avec les stars » sur TF1, lui suggère d’abandonner son rôle de directeur de club, de reprendre les platines et travailler plus sérieusement dans la production musicale. Suivant ces précieux conseils, René Lavenant retrouve alors le gout du studio et son rêve de faire de la musique.
En 2012, de nouveaux projets s’enchainent avec Willy William, Noface, Yann Vedra, Deep Franklin ou encore avec l’une des plus grandes Divas Américaines Kym Mazelle, véritable icône de la scène House de Chicago et également avec Warner Music France pour qui il fait le remix officiel de Tal « Danse ». Cette même année, Philippe Reda Feat Noface « Party time », produit par Willy William Music est signé par Scorpio Music avant d’être playlisté sur Fun Radio…
En 2013, René Lavenant décide de refaire le projet R.Jam Feat Willy William « I like to move it ».
Le titre est Top 7 des clubs Français, le clip est diffusé sur plusieurs chaînes de télévision, avant d’être signé dans 6 pays par Disco Wax…
En 2014, le projet Yann Vedra Feat Kym Mazelle est signé pour le monde par le label de Marcos Carnaval, UC Music & Tommy Boy (NYC) excepté en Espagne par Divucsa.

In early 2005, the famous Parisian label Scorpio Music signs the license of the hit. Consequently, the duo decided to bet all his winnings by creating his own label "2 La Vibe Records". So many projects appear in the rankings, which Rock'n Tronick (Top 13), 3 R, Joy Eivissa, Philippe Reda Feat Cuban MOB (Top 13), Philippe Reda Feat Noface ... and they remixed other artists (Stromae, Dan Balan ...)
In 2011, the duo separates. Encouraged by his best friend, Vincent Cerutti, the first host of "Dance with the stars" on TF1, suggests him to give up his job as director of clubs, and retake the decks and work more seriously in music production. Following these valuable tips, René Lavenant then finds the feeling of the studio and his dream of making music.
Since 2012, new projects keep coming with Willy William, Noface, Yann Vedra, Deep Franklin or with one of the greatest American Divas Kym Mazelle, a true icon of the Chicago House Music and also with Warner Music France for whom he makes the official remix of Tal "Danse".
